The Cosmetic Channel

Dr. Patrick McMenamin performed his surgical training at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution in Baltimore, Maryland. He has completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Additionally, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also a Fellow and past President of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery.

After serving in faculty positions at Johns Hopkins and the University of California, Davis, Medical Centers, Dr. McMenamin entered private practice in Sacramento in 1990. He is a national leader in the field of cosmetic surgery and is the 2009 President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). The AACS is an international organization headquartered in Chicago and is the largest multispecialty organization in the world promoting patient safety and physician education. It is the only Academy devoted exclusively to the practice of cosmetic surgery. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Breast Surgery.

When out of the office, Dr. McMenamin’s passions are golf and fly fishing. He has taught sculpture at California State University, Sacramento, and has exhibited his work.
